We are currently seeking highly motivated Occupational Therapists to join our team in Wicklow (CDNT5, Bray and CDNT6, Wicklow).

Contract Type: Permanent Full-Time (x 3)

Salary Scale: €43,276 to 57,653 pro rata per annum.

Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments)

Annual Leave Entitlement: 32 days pro rata per annum

Overview of the Post: To work as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing services to children aged 0-18 years and families within the region. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of an occupational therapy service to include assessment diagnostics and intervention and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities. The post holder will be required to work across a variety of settings including the clinic, schools, preschools and special schools, children’s homes and community settings.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
  • Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
  • Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
  • On appointment, practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
  • Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland.
  • One-year full-time post qualification experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Occupational Therapy experience of working with children with a disability in a community setting.
  • Relevant post graduate experience/training in assessment and intervention in one or more of the following: Postural Management; Upper Limb Intervention; Sensory Integration; Autism Spectrum Disorder.
