Hobson Prior is seeking a QC Supervisor to join a dynamic team in Tipperary, Ireland. In this role, you will oversee quality control activities, ensuring efficient and timely testing processes within the laboratory. You will play a key role in coordinating with various departments to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:
  1. Organize and manage all testing activities in the lab.
  2. Work with other teams to ensure samples are tested on time.
  3. Review and share test results with different teams.
  4. Manage materials used in testing, including working with outside labs.
  5. Collaborate with other departments for material release and testing.
  6. Lead efforts to manage changes and ensure compliance in the lab.
  7. Plan and organize training for lab staff.
  8. Help with regular data checks and ensure testing meets standards.
  9. Oversee the transfer of testing methods and ensure they are done promptly.
  10. Ensure lab supplies are available and standards are met.
  11. Keep the lab ready for audits and ensure compliance.
  12. Act as a backup for the Quality Control Manager when needed.
  13. Plan resources to improve lab operations.
  14. Complete reports for vendor assessments and ensure compliance.
Key Skills and Requirements:
  1. Strong organizational skills to manage lab activities.
  2. Ability to work well with different teams.
  3. Good communication skills for sharing data and results.
  4. Knowledge of material management and lab processes.
  5. Experience in leading change and ensuring compliance.
  6. Ability to train and develop team members.
  7. Familiarity with audit processes and maintaining standards.
  8. Resource planning and people management skills.
  9. Understanding of vendor qualification processes.
