About the Role:

My client, a rapidly growing fintech startup in Dublin, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Business Analyst to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will be client-focused, possess strong analytical skills, and have a proven track record in the fintech industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their business needs and translating these into technical requirements.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with development teams to design and implement innovative solutions that meet client needs and drive business growth.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects from inception through to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to provide insights and support decision-making processes, ensuring data-driven solutions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and deliver detailed reports and presentations to clients and senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role, with at least 3 years in a fintech environment.
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with project management tools and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance in the fintech sector.
