We are currently recruiting permanent Bottling Operative roles within the Bottling Operations team at Fox & Geese.

Purpose of the Role

We are currently recruiting for the position of Operations Lead. This role will be based at our Bottling Plant and will report to the Bottling & Supply Manager.

The purpose of the role is to support the Operations teams across Packaging and Vatting to further develop and improve processes.

  • Participate in 5 Why's, review actions raised and execute agreed action plans.

Job Specific

  • Provide leadership around safety, while always ensuring all activities, change or improvements have safety 'built-in' as standard
  • Play a leading role in troubleshooting and problem solving to ensure optimisation of the Operations process and resources to reduce waste and improve area performance.
  • Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to improve performance and capability of assigned operational areas.
  • Collect and analyse reliable performance data and use in decision making and problem solving.
  • Be responsible for the management & implementation of capital improvement projects and/or trials to agreed timeframes, budget and scope limits.
  • Support leadership to introduce, embed and measure change effectiveness.
  • Lead and support projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3rd level qualification in engineering, production plant experience or similar related discipline with at least 2 years' experience
  • Proven demonstrated technical and leadership behaviour capability.
  • Strong knowledge of process / plant operations
  • Proven analytical / problem-solving skills
  • Strong decision making / initiative
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Highly motivated individual with drive and passion to work in a busy role
  • Team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills
