  • You will be responsible for creating and coordinating intricate electrical models, connecting them with other disciplines in a unified model environment to digitally construct our Data Centre projects before starting on-site construction.
  • Red-lining and/or modifying new and existing plan set documentation related to Electrical or Mechanical systems.
As Amazon operates globally, domestic and international travel may be required. Collaboration within the team is crucial to achieve our objectives. Working closely with internal groups, suppliers, and consultants is vital for project success. Key responsibilities:

  • Preparing detailed Revit models of Electrical or Mechanical systems.
  • Updating and modifying existing models and drawings as needed.
  • Managing the creation, issuance, and revisions of drawings & models.
  • Coordinating MEP services with other disciplines to develop clash-free models.
  • Releasing data center Mechanical or Electrical designs within tight deadlines.
  • Handling concurrent projects in diverse geographical locations.
  • Collaborating within an internal CSAMEP design team.
  • Providing coordination support for information requests during construction phases. About the team:
AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We ensure the smooth operation of all AWS data centers and related equipment, providing our customers with continuous access to innovation. We tackle complex challenges and seek talented individuals to join us. You'll work alongside a diverse team, including software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers. Together, we strive to maintain the highest standards of safety, security, and scalability at a low cost for our customers.

  • 5 years BIM/CAD experience in Mechanical or Electrical Building Design & services.
  • Experience using Revit for large Mechanical or Electrical projects.
  • Building engineering and construction technology knowledge.
  • Single Line schematics and layout drawings development experience.
  • Understanding of Mechanical and/or Electrical systems in data centres.
  • BIM models establishment and management proficiency.
  • Specialist Diploma in Building Information Modelling with 8+ years' Revit/CAD experience.
  • Experience in designing electrical systems for mission critical projects.
  • Modelling/drawing for large facilities experience.
  • Lean Engineering understanding.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Adherence to quality and national standards.
