Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the electrical engineering team responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and packages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of electrical packages with project objectives.
  • Review project requirements and develop detailed design specifications for electrical systems and components.
  • Oversee the procurement of electrical equipment and materials, ensuring compliance with project specifications and budgetary constraints.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery and installation of electrical packages.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate mitigation measures to ensure the safety and reliability of electrical systems.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project stakeholders, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, regulations, and best practices in electrical engineering.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the sales team during the pre-sales phase, including technical proposals, feasibility studies, and cost estimation.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in electrical engineering, and implement innovative practices to enhance project outcomes and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in electrical engineering, with a focus on project management and package design.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in designing and developing electrical systems and packages.
  • Experience in procurement and supply chain management for electrical equipment and materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations pertaining to electrical engineering.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming engineering challenges.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in all aspects of work.
