Design Manager - Dublin

John Sisk & Son are excited to be part of an innovative project in Dublin 7. As an experienced Design Manager, you'll work on a dynamic residential project, implementing cutting-edge processes for top-notch efficiency and quality.

The perfect candidate should have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Design Manager, with a focus on residential developments.

You will be:

  • Ensuring the design management procedure is implemented correctly on projects, covering key aspects like design programme, RFI schedule, and design documentation.
  • Owning design-related tasks in the tender and construction phases, including creating presentation material.
  • Participating in the selection of the design team and assisting with strategic design items.
  • Considering health & safety, sustainability, and quality in the design process.
  • Collaborating with the site team to explore alternative design solutions.

You will have:

  • Degree Level 6 in architecture, engineering, building services, or related field + at least 5 years' experience.
  • Preferred experience in CDE, BIM, and planning software.
  • Training and experience in sustainability accreditation and H&S.
  • Knowledge of site/delivery, commercial, and contract procedures.
  • Understanding of building regulations, planning permission, and PSDP procedures.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
