Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Designer or BIM Technician to join our team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Revit and Navisworks, as well as a strong background in AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical systems for various projects
    – Work closely with architects, engineers, and other designers to ensure project requirements are met
    – Create detailed drawings and schematics using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks
    – Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve design issues
    – Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
    – Participate in project meetings and communicate with clients as needed

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field experience
    – At least 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Designer
    – Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
    – Knowledge of mechanical systems and components
    – Strong communication and collaboration skills
    – Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    – Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Essential Skills

  • Knowledge of Mech/HVAC specific design standards (minimum UK/EU), with an understanding of the international building codes.
  • Ability to interact with other engineering disciplines, clients, and vendors at all levels.
  • Experience using 3D BIM environment.

Location: Hybrid Working (3 days on site) Working hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday.
