Department Overview

Within Audit and Assurance, we aim to expand our Outsourced Accounting Services team due to our rapid growth. We are on the lookout for a highly motivated individual to join our expanding Outsourced Accounting team. With a growing client base, we provide comprehensive services to start-ups and evolving businesses. Our clients span across various sectors, including ICT, Pharmaceutical, Construction, Retail, and Services. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, capable of independent work, and possess the ability to plan, manage, and complete outsourcing projects for a diverse range of local and global clients. This role is hands-on, requiring someone eager to quickly grasp finance processes. The firm offers excellent opportunities for ambitious individuals to advance their careers. Main Responsibilities

  • Supervise tasks related to bookkeeping, reconciliations, preparation of management accounts, VAT returns, and additional ad hoc duties as assigned.
  • Generate client-specific management reports containing key performance indicators and business insights to aid decision-making.
  • Prepare financial statements for audit-exempt clients and collaborate directly with client auditors on relevant matters.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to trainees.
  • Assist in establishing and nurturing client relationships.
  • Plan and coordinate all client requirements within agreed timelines to enhance service delivery.
  • Manage assignments within specified budgets and resource allocations.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency improvements by optimizing business processes across client files through automation and other enhancements.

Skills and Attributes

  • Qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Effective multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing deadlines.
  • Commercially astute and self-motivated.
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities, capable of multitasking, planning, and prioritizing work effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a drive for enhancing quality.
  • Team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to articulate financial concepts to non-financial staff professionally and confidently.
