Connexus Recruit is thrilled to partner with a distinguished Irish company in their search for a dynamic and strategic Commercial Manager for their expanding Alcohol portfolio.

THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a highly competent Commercial Manager to drive profitable sales and market share growth across the Alcohol portfolio, including wine and beer brands.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Development: Formulate and execute strategies for the wine and beer portfolios, focusing on identifying market gaps and opportunities for growth.
- Brand & Marketing: Lead the development and implementation of brand and marketing initiatives aimed at increasing distribution, sales velocity, and brand awareness.
- Market Insight: Identify and leverage key trends in the alcohol category to drive strategic projects and ensure future success.
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Commercial Performance: Analyze portfolio performance and highlight key commercial factors to drive profitable growth.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Sales, Category, Supply Chain, and Field teams to achieve outstanding results across all trade channels.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on business goals, including sales, distribution, margins, and promotional effectiveness.
- Business Presentations: Prepare and present regular business reports and performance assessments to key stakeholders.
- Efficiency & ROI: Evaluate the efficiency of business plans and support the team with return on investment analysis and budget management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Deep understanding of the FMCG industry, particularly the Irish retail and convenience landscape.
- Commercially savvy with strong analytical skills and experience in managing budgets and promotional pricing strategies.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and a results-driven approach.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Innovative thinker capable of developing creative solutions and strategies.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Passionate about consumer trends and building strong brands in the market.
