About the Role

The Corporate Finance team at Davy specializes in providing comprehensive Investment Banking services such as Capital Markets (Equity and Debt), and Merger & Acquisition Advisory.

With over 30 years of experience, we possess unparalleled expertise in various industries and transaction types, catering to a wide range of clients. Our clientele ranges from major corporations to start-ups and private equity sponsors, demonstrating our diverse skill set.

In addition to transactional knowledge, our Corporate Finance team leverages industry research, economic insights, ESG capabilities, and a profound understanding of financial markets and valuation dynamics, setting us apart in the Irish market.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manager in the Corporate Finance department with a focus on Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions. Ideal candidates should have 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in executing successful deals in Ireland or internationally. In this role, the successful candidate will:

  • Support the client director in executing transactions for public market clients, including IPOs and takeovers
  • Conduct detailed research on companies, industries, and potential transactions to drive business development efforts
  • Perform Valuation and Financial Analysis, including preparing various presentations and financial models
  • Develop expertise in Stock Exchange Rules and regulatory environments
  • Manage transaction execution and collaborate with various departments within Davy

Requirements

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of Investment Banking experience
  • Knowledge of Capital Markets or transaction advisory experience
  • Hold an APA/QFA/Registered Stockbroker qualification or equivalent
  • Strong IT and analytics capabilities
  • Excellent communication, financial modeling, and report writing skills
