Responsibilities of Position:

  • Lead or assist with the design, buy off, installation and validation of automation production lines.
  • Provides support to other Manufacturing Engineers on process characterization / optimization (DFMEA's, PFMEA's, DOE's etc.)
  • Lead or support in systematic technical root cause investigations.
  • Deliver improvements in key operational metrics, including cost, scrap, OEE, productivity.
  • Constantly seeks to improve work processes; Has a quality-first mentality; Learns from internal and external best practices to apply to her/his work
  • Supports all company Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Supports all company quality programs and initiatives.
  • Timeliness in addressing Quality System Requirements.
  • Principles of data integrity must be strictly adhered to.
  • All activities to be performed in strict accordance with the Quality Management System.
  • Support production line ramp to achieve mature production targets.
  • Travel as required to support equipment buy-offs and/or training at vendor/customer sites.
