What is your role and your responsibilities?

  • Lead operational due diligence reviews covering a variety of fund types across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Identifying risks associated with the appointment of the Administrator and Depositary and proposing mitigating actions.
  • Produce and present clear, concise due diligence reports in line with market standards and requirements laid out by the regulator(s) for review by senior management on the team and sign off by the relevant Conducting Officers / Designated Persons / Authorised Corporate Directors.
  • Build rapport with Administrators and Depositaries to identify potential commercial opportunities and development points.
  • Participate in meetings with Clients when required to present Carne, Curator and due diligence findings, as they may be applicable.
  • Provide training and support to more junior members of the team
  • Attend various internal meetings to provide updates on the due diligence program status.

What are the minimum requirements you need for this role?
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in fund administration, depositary or operational due diligence (with a focus on administration and depositary).
  • University degree (or equivalent qualification).
  • Experience in attending / leading operational due diligence meetings.
  • An understanding of the regulatory environment impacting investment funds and Management Companies/AIFMs.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to build rapport with services providers to identify potential commercial opportunities.
  • Experience in producing concise and clear reports for presentation to senior management.
  • Experience in verbally communicating analysis on delegates including escalation of material issues identified to senior management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
