Our client is a large organisation in the not-for-profit sector with a global reach. They are seeking to appoint a Qualified Accountant for their global finance team based in Dublin. This is a broad role, responsible for the delivery of management accounts, monthly payroll and support on cash forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis. Manager of two accounts payable staff, this role is perfect for an accountant looking to broaden their experience.
Role Responsibilities:
- Daily financial accounting responsibilities to include oversight of all month-end processes
- Produce accurate quarterly management accounts with input into budget review and analysis
- Responsible for managing intercompany balances and reconciliations
- Responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, forecasts, budgets, cashflow processes
- Cashflow management with oversight of treasury function and bank reconciliations
- Accurate maintenance of financial records
- Point of contact for auditors as required
- Data analysis, preparation of management reports and board packs
- Accountant has oversight of the monthly payroll processing for headquarters
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years PQE
- Previous experience working in the not-for-profit sector is a distinct advantage
- Able to show initiative, motivation, commitment, and professionalism
- Fully competent with MS Office with good Excel skills
- Excellent verbal, analytical, organisational, and written skills
- Strong people management and communication skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team
