About the job

Google accountants are a savvy bunch who handle the core accounting responsibilities at Google. You know your accounting principles and the full accounting process end to end. You'll advise on financial reports required by governmental regulations, and review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports. Every day is a new challenge, and you're continually looking for ways to help our team become more efficient and effective. In this role, you will oversee financial reporting, accounting for business agreement, sales compliance, and business launch support for EMEA's rapidly growing Cloud business. You will have the opportunity to support one of Google's fastest growing businesses. You will support the growing portfolio of Cloud companies in EMEA, and expansion of Cloud products and infrastructure in the region to enable the long-term growth and success of the business.

And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for the financial and tax compliance for a portfolio of Cloud companies in EMEA.
  • Design, develop and present periodic reporting and financial analyses to executive management ensuring the integrity of the financials.
  • Ensure appropriate controls and governance structures are established and operating effectively.
  • Support and drive key initiatives and projects across international controllership representing Cloud.
  • Partner with Tax, Finance, Legal, and Business teams aswell as external advisors on future countries and product launches for Cloud across the region.
