Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist - Pelvic Health

Join our team as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist specializing in Pelvic Health. We are looking for dedicated individuals to fill this full-time permanent position with the added benefit of flexible working hours.

  • Experience in treating conditions such as gynaecologic surgery, gynaecological oncology surgery, bowel/bladder/sexual dysfunction, radiotherapy, and robotic prostatectomy is a must.
  • You will be responsible for treating these conditions both in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physiotherapy assessments and interventions for patients in your caseload.
  • Lead the Pelvic Health Physiotherapy service, ensuring clinical effectiveness through various means like performance management, education, audit, and research.
  • Evaluate and enhance clinical effectiveness and research within the specialty.
  • Compile and analyze data to assess effectiveness, producing reports as needed.
  • Expand the Pelvic Health physiotherapy service to meet the demands and advancements in the hospital service.
  • Provide mentorship, education, and in-service training to other professionals.

Essential Criteria

1. Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc

Candidates must meet the following:

  • Be registered or eligible for registration with the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
  • Possess at least five years of full-time clinical experience, with four years in the required specialization.
  • Show a track record of clinical excellence in the specialization area.
  • Demonstrate continued professional development through post-graduate qualifications or relevant courses.
  • Prove proficiency in clinical audit, quality improvement, practice development, teaching, and research.
  • Display the necessary knowledge and skills for the role.
  • Show proof of Statutory Registration before employment can commence.

2. Annual registration

Practitioners must maintain annual registration with the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU post-appointment.
