Location: Dublin, as part of our hybrid working model.

Grade: Senior Associate

Contract type: Perm

A snapshot of your peer group:

  • A recently qualified accountant (Chartered Accountant or equivalent) with training completed in an accountancy practice
  • A keen interest in deal advisory and M&A activity
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills
  • High level of competency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, drive and enthusiasm are a pre-requisite for this role

Your responsibilities and achievements will evolve as you enhance your career with us. Here is what you can initially expect:

  • Interaction with client and target teams on a day to day basis
  • Delivery of projects and participation in work streams of larger more complex projects
  • Financial analysis, report writing and presentation of findings and recommendations to clients
  • Working alongside and developing junior colleagues
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our own service delivery and practice

Your team:

KPMG Transaction Services is the leading firm in Ireland in assisting clients in areas including financial, tax and commercial due diligence, pre and post deal evaluation, sell-side assistance, financing and refinancing assistance, contractual discussions and integration. We assist our clients with capital markets transactions including initial public offerings, class 1 transactions, reverse takeovers and fundraisings. In addition we assist buyers and sellers of loan portfolios in Ireland.

We work on project-type engagements lasting from several weeks to several months, working extensively with significant corporates, domestic and international banks, other financial institutions, private equity and other investment funds offering team members the widest exposure to acquisition and financing related activity.
