Suir Engineering are currently looking to hire a Civil Foreman for a grid connection project in Blanchardstown, Co. Dublin.

  • Working within a project team
  • Communicate and engagement with various Stakeholders, Client, Utility companies, Local authorities, Public and adjacent landowners.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction crews, subcontractors, and equipment operators Develop safe methods for construction
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and mitigation measures
  • Ensuring compliance with Construction H&S Regulations
  • Ensure works are constructed in accordance with the works specifications and design
  • Monitor progress and quality of work on-site, identifying any issues and implementing solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project goals are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports and material usage
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
  • Proven experience as a civil engineering foreman or a similar supervisory role in the construction industry.
  • Previous experience in road construction is beneficial
  • Previous experience as a civil foreman
  • Able to work within a team
  • Adaptable, motivated and uses own initiative
  • Ability to communicate strategy to the wider team
  • Proven record of seeing projects through from beginning to completion
