JobDescription:

TheUtility Project Engineer reports to the Senior Manager for StrategicEngineering Projects and is responsible for scoping and executing technicalprojects in utility areas supporting all areas of the facility including:

· CleanUtilities (WFI, Clean Steam, Purified Water, Process Air, Nitrogen)

· OtherUtilities (Glycol, HVAC, Instrument Air, Water Systems [e.g. Service, chilled,potable, LPHW], Process Waste)

· Controlledtemperature Units including incubators, fridges, and freezers.

· Associatedqualified and non-qualified control systems.

Thisincludes commissioning and qualification of new equipment and upgrades.

Requirements

KeyResponsibilities:

· Projectmanagement and execution of assigned projects including project prioritization,resources management, status management and external communication.

· Workingwith various stakeholders, to scope projects and ensure requirements aresatisfied. Project input will span from concept, through design, construction, commissioning,and operation.

· Coordinatingthe introduction of new processes, equipment and materials including problemsolving and troubleshooting equipment issues prior to qualification &start-up

· Supportingthe development and implementation of maintenance programs and spare partsinventory optimization within scope of project delivery.

· Developmentand management of change controls

· Participateas a member of multidisciplinary site and multisite teams.

· Developmentof detailed specifications, engineering documents, protocols, and standardoperating procedures

· Workin a collaborative manner within the Teams structure and contributes to RootCause Investigations and Cross Functional Investigations.

· Workin a collaborative manner with the System Owners, Maintenance Supervisors &Technicians, Capital Project Engineers, and Vendors to perform equipmentupgrade and/or retrofits.

· Performall tasks with due care and attention ensuring compliance with GoodManufacturing Practices and company requirements, policies and procedures.

· Supporta safe working environment by complying with environmental health/safetypractice, rules and regulations.

· Travelmay be required to support execution of projects.

Experienceand Qualification:

· Bachelor'sdegree in engineering or Relevant Experience

· Typically,3+ years engineering experience, preferably within a GMP manufacturingenvironment.

· Strongmechanical capability with hands on experience in a technical role withinsimilar areas.

· Demonstratedexperience in a GDP Compliant environment.

· Provenability working cross functionally, delivering technical solutions andimplementing improvements.

· Solidleadership skillset and experience working in a team environment, embracing aninterdependent working culture that delivers results.

· Technicalreport writing and communication/presentation skills.

· Abilityto work to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
