Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Extensive technical expertise in coding languages such as Golang, Rust, C++, C#, Java, or Python
  • Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams
  • Strong technical background in areas like Networking, Distributed Systems, RESTful Services, etc.
  • Cloud development knowledge
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes and cloud-native/container ecosystem
  • Familiarity with L4-L7 proxies like Nginx, Envoy, HAProxy
  • Contribution to open source projects

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft's security screening requirements, including specialized checks like the Microsoft Cloud Background Check

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and guide engineers in achieving goals with agility and technical prowess
  • Drive execution and results in Azure Networking services with a focus on quality
  • Lead innovation in architecture, design, and coding while managing project timelines
  • Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) guiding other engineers and overseeing system monitoring
  • Continuously seek knowledge to enhance product performance and reliability
