MERCHANDISER POSITION

The Merchandiser role, reporting to the Tactical Manager, is a key player in ensuring high visibility for our retail clients. The main focus is on stock rotation and planogram compliance, ultimately contributing to sales growth across categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to journey plans outlined by the line manager
  • Ensure compliance with merchandising guidelines, with a focus on Planogram adherence and maximizing promotional space
  • Record sales data, competitor activities, and provide timely feedback
  • Maintain proper stock rotation and communicate any short-dated items to the store manager
  • Optimize planogram space when possible
  • Ensure correct product labeling and pricing
  • Merchandise promotional ends effectively
  • Document before and after visuals using a handheld device
  • Collaborate with store managers to ensure satisfaction with completed work
  • Communicate with the Tactical scheduler before and after each assignment
  • Build strong relationships with all parties involved
  • Generate innovative ideas and processes
  • Support product launches and promotions for all serviced brands
  • Maintain CPM and client standards consistently
  • Strive for highest performance standards for customers
  • Operate effectively and efficiently in all tasks
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Full clean driving licence
  • Familiarity with technology
  • Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills
  • Strong Organizational Skills
