Here's a glimpse of what you'll be responsible for as a Business Analyst:

  • Systems Mapping and Process Capture: Perform a comprehensive analysis of existing finance systems and procedures. Document current workflows and system architecture. Identify areas for enhancement and streamlining.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Organize meetings with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather requirements and insights. Lead discussions to extract essential information on system functionalities and process needs.
  • Bridging Finance Solutions and Operational Management: Serve as a connection between the Finance Solutions team and Operational Management Business Analysts (OM BAs). Translate requirements gathered from SMEs into actionable insights for OM BAs to create future processes and requirements.
  • Requirement Articulation: Clearly express the envisioned future processes and system prerequisites based on SME discussions. Ensure harmony between business requirements and proposed solutions.
  • Challenging and Questioning: Challenge assumptions and seek clarifications from SMEs on current systems and processes. Prompt deeper investigations to guarantee a thorough understanding and documentation.

Prerequisites:

  • Mid-Level Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a Business Analyst position, preferably in the finance sector.
  • Finance Project Experience: Demonstrated involvement in finance projects, encompassing legacy system enhancements, financial transactions, and banking operations.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing intricate systems and processes. Capable of pinpointing inefficiencies and suggesting efficient solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Competent in conducting meetings, extracting requirements, and conveying findings to diverse stakeholders.
  • Collaborative Approach: Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including SMEs, OM BAs, and technical specialists.
  • Critical Thinking: Robust critical thinking and problems solving capabilities. Proficient in challenging assumptions and steering discussions towards actionable results.
  • Attention to Detail: Diligent attention to detail in requirement documentation and process mapping. Ensure precision and entirety in all outputs.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to adjust to shifting project requirements and priorities. Capable of excelling in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
