Overview

As a Senior LLE Procurement Manager in charge of EMEA, you will lead sourcing and category management for construction LLE equipment to support our building program across the EMEA region. You need a deep understanding of developing sourcing strategies for key Long Lead Equipment categories like Generators, AHUs, Medium/Low Voltage Switchgear, EPMS, and BAS. Your role involves establishing sourcing strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders to drive long-term goals of Continuity of Supply, Quality, Safety, Diversity & Inclusion, and Sustainability. You will oversee supplier performance and compliance, develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and conduct quarterly business reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field AND substantial experience in construction supply chain and/or procurement for large complex capital projects. Ability to meet specific security screening requirements, including Microsoft Cloud Background Check.

Responsibilities

  • Continuous Improvement: Look for ways to streamline processes, deploy tools, and collaborate with IT groups for system enhancements.
  • Strategic Execution: Develop and maintain execution strategies to enhance Microsoft's procurement of goods and services.
  • Compliance: Drive business impact by applying expertise in procurement processes, market intelligence, and influencing channel strategies, leading decision-making, and ensuring policy compliance.
  • Commercial Management & Negotiation Strategy: Provide negotiation guidance and set standards, address pricing issues, and manage procurement requests to ensure procedural compliance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Lead pricing and negotiation strategies, foster partnerships, and define engagement strategies with internal and external stakeholders. Direct supplier activity and progress across multiple accounts.

Partners: Internal partners include Engineering, Construction, Finance, Safety, Legal, and other relevant groups. External partners consist of Contractors, Consultants, Suppliers, and Industry Groups.

This role collaborates with the broader Global Supply Chain teams to ensure on-time delivery for large, complex capital projects. It involves driving strategy development, compliance, and supplier engagement.
