This role can be based anywhere in Ireland with frequent travel to client sites and our Limerick HQ

The role

We seek an experienced Product Owner to join our global team. As a Product Owner, you will collaborate closely with the Product Manager to ensure the developed solutions for our Recycling customers maximize business value.

You will have a pivotal role in driving product market fit goals, ensuring customer needs are met, business objectives are achieved, and value is delivered to stakeholders. Embracing a culture of continuous improvement, you will evaluate processes, practices, and outcomes to drive innovation.

What will you be doing?

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a product backlog of features and crafting user stories that clearly define the 'who,' 'what,' and 'why' of each requirement.
  • Prioritizing development efforts based on delivered customer value aligned with business strategy, product goals, objectives, and roadmap.
  • Defining acceptance criteria for user stories to ensure the development team understands what constitutes successful implementation.
  • Collaborating with the development team to plan and execute iterative development cycles (sprints).
  • Reviewing and offering feedback on the team's deliverables to ensure they meet business requirements and acceptance criteria.

About You

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management within a SaaS technology environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, testers, and stakeholders.
  • Aptitude for influencing and persuading, fostering team consensus, and driving motivation.
  • Self-directed with a passion for collaborative work and navigating complexities in software products.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent field; Master's Degree is a plus.
