Position Overview

The Senior Associate role at StepStone Group's Product Management team in New York is crucial for StepStone Enterprise Services' Product Management team. This position will support the firm's infrastructure and real assets platform, focusing on global co-investment, secondary, and primary infrastructure and real asset transactions. Responsibilities include assisting senior specialists in infrastructure and real asset products throughout the fund lifecycle, from fund launches to investor relations activities, such as content creation, investor correspondence, and event support. The role may also involve interactions with investors and limited partners.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Establish and execute client service protocols for a consistent investor experience
  • Develop content for investor communications and internal/external speaking points
  • Create and update marketing materials related to private investment fundraises
  • Manage investor requests, including responses to due diligence inquiries and updates
  • Collaborate with internal teams for accurate and consistent client communications
  • Build relationships with various stakeholders to enhance investor relations processes
  • Stay informed about infrastructure industry trends and conduct industry research
  • Coordinate client events, meetings, and webinar activities
  • Implement internal efficiencies through technology collaboration
  • Support key initiatives as necessary

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of infrastructure, real assets, or financial services experience
  • Preferably experience in investor relations, analytics, and presentations
  • Background in private markets asset management, financial services, or investment banking

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrate ethical behavior and professionalism aligned with the company's values
  • Work effectively as part of a team with a high level of professionalism
  • Strong technical skills and product knowledge to address investor inquiries
