Role information:

  • Daily management interface with the Hotel managers to ensure service level agreements and key performance indicators are met.
  • Maintain accurate financial controls – raising orders within approved budgets.
  • Provide a clean, safe and secure environment for guests, contractors, staff and colleagues.
  • Ensure that Hotel needs are dealt with effectively and communicated appropriately.
  • Conduct risk assessments on a regular basis.
  • Identifying hazards and taking appropriate action
  • Conduct Safety Audits on a regular basis.
  • Ensure any systems are up to date including training records, health and safety records, maintenance tracking reports, etc.
  • Drive the development of the team.
  • Assist with the regulatory training of all hotel staff – Fire Safety etc
  • Analyse energy bills & usage data providing updates and opportunities to the Director of Engineering for consideration.

Requirements:

  • Experience within a similar role.
  • Able to demonstrate sound maintenance and electrical knowledge.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and able to motivate staff.
  • Health and safety and risk assessment experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of dealing with people at all levels.
  • Sound knowledge of financial controls and budgeting.
  • Focused on and driven to provide the highest quality of customer service.
  • Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Flexible approach to all work activities
  • Ability to manage and motivate others to achieve goals and targets set by the Company
  • Multi-Site experience
