Work on multiple phases of a project and/or multiple small projects of moderate scope and sometimes complex assignments Select appropriate standards, methods, tools and applications for project use Create and execute basic non-functional test scripts following a given set of guidelines and sets up test environments, data and monitors Design, code, test and document simple programs or scripts and assist in the implementation of software which forms part of a properly engineered system Accurately identify project risks and report effectively to relevant stakeholders. Manage issues, risks, actions, dependencies, and defects to the success of the project Coordinate the information gathering and reporting process, conduct research to define problems and prepare responses to anticipated questions Creates traceability records, from test cases back to requirements. Report on system quality and collect metrics on test cases Maintain the status of project and provides guidance to the work of junior team members, works across teams to achieve group goals

Qualifications

Relevant third level qualification or equivalent work experience

Desirable:

Certification in NFT tools such as LoadRunner, LoadUI, MSVS, Fortify, etc.

Experience

Experience and knowledge in NFT, performance and test automation tools such as performance Center/LoadRunner/StormRunner, LoadUI, JMeter, MSVS, CISSP, CISM, Neoload, BlazeMeter, SilkTest, Service Virtualisation, Jenkins, Selenium, UFT, Cucumber, Gherkin, TOSCA, BurpSuite, Fortify, Rational, ALM, Jira, etc. Intermediate theoretical knowledge in quality engineering methodologies and has awareness of opportunities provided by new and emerging technologies/products Applications/technology knowledge and problem solving skills, building on specialist domain knowledge and has practical experience of engineering tools and platforms required to deliver Proficient in at least one programming language (ideally VB, Java or C#) and script language (. Shell, Perl) Knowledge of Cloud concepts and virtualisation Experience working in a DevOps or Agile environment
