JOB SUMMARY:

As a Project Manager at Tuath Housing, you will collaborate with design teams and contractors to oversee projects in the pipeline. Your key responsibilities will include managing project funding, ensuring cost controls are met, monitoring project risks, and reporting progress to stakeholders. You will focus on new build opportunities, Design and Build projects, and Modern Methods of Construction. Additionally, you will play a vital role in assessing new prospects to increase housing availability, working closely with Local Authorities and the Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage (DHLGH) to deliver social housing solutions. You will also help with procurement processes, supervise junior staff, aid in training new team members, and facilitate information flow between departments.

  • Manage various projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Supervise all project facets within the development process, including design commissioning, financial submissions, and contract preparation
  • Review design proposals to ensure compliance with project briefs and Tuath's standards
  • Conduct performance evaluations of Consultants and Contractors
  • Maintain knowledge of Government Public Works Capital Contracts
  • Monitor construction progress, key tasks, and delays
  • Oversee tendering processes in compliance with regulations
  • Attend public meetings and deliver presentations as needed
  • Lead Dispute Resolution processes on projects

FINANCIAL MONITORING & CONTROL

  • Ensure projects are delivered within budget and offer good value for money
  • Monitor project finances and funding applications to authorities
