Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Selection

  • Ensure that the right senior role talent is identified and recruited and that our employer brands are presented as attractive places to work.
  • Develop your professional network on social platforms and leverage to attract directapplications
  • Regularly review recruitment advertisements for effectiveness and monitor recruitment time to fill KPI's
  • Ensure Hiring Managers are skilled in recruiting and selecting talent for their teams

Performance Management

  • Support effective probation management in line with our company processes
  • Ensure the GPS strategy is implemented by the hotel managers to maximise the people value to the business; that is cultivating a culture of feedback conversations, clarity on expectations, motivating, engaging, accountability and recognition.
  • Supporting the General Managers in completing talent reviews and individual development plans for their teams and high potential colleagues

Workforce Planning and Succession activity

  • Ensuring the businesses have the right skills, experience, and competencies in their teams to deliver success.
  • Supports the hotels to develop a pipeline of highly qualified individuals for succession to fill critical positions and help avoid gaps in resourcing.

Engagement activity

  • Driver of the engagement and communication activity to maintain a great employee value proposition for our loyal teams
  • Ensure retention initiatives are relevant, effective and alive in our hotels

Learning & Development

  • Support the learning and development plans and IDP's of managers and high potential colleagues to ensure ongoing and strategic development for succession
  • Perform a coaching and mentoring role for managers as required

Employee Relations

  • The Group People & Culture Business Partner will be the hotel advisor on any grievances and areas of dispute.
  • Ensure that the capability for dealing with grievances, issues and misconduct is developed among all the people leaders in the business
  • Ensure that the senior teams in each property are trained, coached, and refreshed in conducting workplace investigations regularly.

Skills, Experience & Competencies:

  • Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership multi-property role within the hospitality industry
  • Proven record in managing employee relations, performance management, recruitment, learning & development, talent management & succession planning
  • Engagement, wellbeing & diversity advocate
  • Thorough knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and analytics
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate stakeholders and clients
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High ethical standards and a strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree / 3rd level qualification in HR or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g. CIPD) is highly desirable.
