Due to unprecedented demand, KPMG Sustainable Futures is seeking an experienced candidate to work within our growing ESG Reporting team. The successful candidate will work alongside senior subject matter experts in the Sustainable Futures team, with a significant depth of knowledge in sustainability, and an innovative approach to client solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior professional looking to build upon their experience to make an impact in the global transition to improved reporting, and ultimately improved sustainability performance.

A snapshot of your peer group:
9+ years' experience in ESG and Sustainability Reporting Deep knowledge of key ESG Regulations including the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, EU Taxonomy, UK Climate Related Financial Disclosures, International Sustainability Standards Board, etc. Experience in consulting and/or client-facing role.Proven ability to identify and pursue business development opportunities.Good multi-tasking skillset with an ability to manage multiple engagements concurrently.Excellent written and oral communication skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs.Strong people skills to work collaboratively in a team environment and working effectively with people at all levels of the organisation.Strong analytical and quantitative skills, comfort working with numbers, and demonstrate critical thinking.Demonstrate confidence in conducting independent work and pride for excellence and quality.Demonstrate growth mindset, ambition to develop professional knowledge and skills with a steep learning curve.Your responsibilities and achievements will evolve as you enhance your career with us. Lead in business development activities and proposal development for prospective clientsManage the delivery of engagements. Supervising, mentoring, and coaching junior staff including promoting quality.Helping to lead client relationships and ensuring consistent, high quality of engagement deliveryHelping to design, promote and deliver ESG Reporting campaigns Budgeting and monitoring the financial performance of engagements in line with agreed parametersApplication and ongoing development of KPMG tools and methodologies.Continuous professional development, keeping up to date on relevant topics and skills via training courses organised by the KPMG Business School.Developing strong relationships with internal colleagues and our clients.Working alongside other specialists in KPMG Sustainable Futures and across other KPMG service lines.Your team:

KPMG Sustainable Futures is a dedicated cross-functional team of experts who help corporates and public sector clients respond to ESG challenges, including sustainability reporting, strategy, sustainable finance, climate risk, biodiversity, energy, decarbonisation, and renewables.

The team brings together a wide range of disciplines including sustainability practitioners, economists, engineers, corporate strategists, carbon experts, accountants, academics, and financiers to help clients navigate the complex and fast-evolving climate change and ESG agenda.
