What you'll be doing

• Operating and maintaining all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment and systems under a rigorous change management system to maintain 100% uptime availability
• Monitoring and troubleshooting all site/plant equipment support systems to include logging and responding to incidents/events, problems, changes, monitoring, problem escalation/notification/ resolution and all other aspects of site support (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, generators, fire alarms and suppression etc)
• Utilising maximum capabilities of all operational systems including BMS, PMS, CMS
• Managing a team and any sub-contracted resources, as necessary, to deliver a safe and quality service to the Business
• Management and coordination of all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule activity

• Ability to connect and collaborate: You'll be able to share your perspectives constructively and listen openly. Cross functional collaboration is crucial, because we understand that no one team is wholly responsible for building and operating a data centre
• Good post qualification experience including a supervisory role.
• Experience in troubleshooting/repair of low & medium voltage electrical systems
• Experience in troubleshooting/repair of mechanical/HVAC systems
• Knowledge and ability to apply safe electrical practices according to guidelines/regulations set by relevant national electrical safety supervisory bodies

Your skills and attitude:

• Experience of maintaining Pumps, HVAC Systems, Compressors, Boilers, steam systems and ancillary services, (DHW skids), Chillers, Cooling Towers, Clean steam Boilers, Purified Water Systems, CIP systems, Low/Medium voltage Electrical Systems, UPS, Generators and other associated systems
• Significant knowledge of and experience of working to international HSE standards
• Previous experience managing a small team
• Experience of operating in a customer facing role and dealing with technical problems in challenging situations
