We are on the lookout for a Systems Development Engineer to join us in delivering extensive automation projects across a wide range of technical fields.
What Makes AWS CloudWatch Unique?
We operate one of the largest time-series data stores globally, overseeing more than 13 quadrillion metric observations and triggering 3.9 trillion events monthly.
Our teams tackle challenges related to large-scale telemetric data, distributed systems/cloud computing, data visualization, anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and root cause analysis.
Many of the most prominent web services worldwide rely on our technology to drive their operational efficiency.
We construct, manage, and continuously enhance the CloudWatch service for both technical and business users, providing them with valuable insights into what matters most to them.
CloudWatch is a part of AWS Utility Computing (UC), offering product innovations ranging from foundational services like Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) to regularly introduced new product innovations that set AWS's services and features apart in the industry.
As a member of the UC organization, you will play a key role in developing and managing Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services at AWS.
Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) positions interact with AWS customers in need of specialized security solutions for their cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
- You collaborate with internal teams to identify areas for infrastructure enhancement and automate processes to address them.
- You contribute to shaping the future vision of the team.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
- Proficiency in programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build processes.
