MEP Carbon / Sustainability Engineer

The role of the Carbon / Sustainability Engineer is to join the Sustainable Design and Carbon Management team. Responsibilities include supporting project teams in calculating the embodied carbon of project designs according to RICS, Levels, and TM65 standards, utilizing tools like One Click LCA, and reviewing EPDs and material databases.

The Carbon / Sustainability Engineer will collaborate within a diverse team to develop more efficient and sustainable design alternatives, taking a holistic approach for Sisk and clients. They will actively engage with other teams in a collaborative environment.

You will be:
- Promoting the Sisk sustainability strategy and core business priorities
- Providing robust carbon data and insights for informed decision-making
- Advising on carbon-related matters for work-winning activities
- Supporting client carbon reduction strategies and training initiatives
- Identifying and implementing carbon reduction opportunities
- Monitoring and targeting carbon emissions
- Developing and implementing carbon management strategies for compliance
- Reviewing carbon management practices on-site and supporting project teams
- Introducing innovative practices and nurturing a team of carbon specialists as needed

You will have:
- Extensive experience in carbon management
- Relevant engineering or technical degree with past carbon management experience
- Strong knowledge of carbon management systems and standards
- Project development expertise, especially for large-scale projects
- Familiarity with innovative carbon reduction technologies
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Ambitious, self-motivated, and enthusiastic
