TREASURY MANAGER, DUBLIN

SpaceX is looking for a manager to join the treasury team to ensure that our treasury capabilities meet the increasing needs of our rapidly growing global Starlink business. The Treasury Manager will be SpaceX's first international treasury hire and will oversee and support various aspects of treasury operations., including cash management, FX strategy and execution, fixed-income investment, and systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage execution of foreign exchange trades required to fund SpaceX's global business
  • Establish and develop relationships with banking/payment partners to implement new systems and methodologies for executing trades in restricted currencies
  • Lead the expansion of the team's FX capabilities in EMEA time zones
  • Perform reconciliations and forecasting as needed
  • Perform risk analyses related to foreign exchange and other risks
  • Work closely with the treasury team in the US to design and build risk monitoring frameworks, systems, and reporting dashboards that present risks and mitigation plans or alternatives
  • Work closely with the treasury team in the US to develop, enhance, and standardize processes related to FX trading/reporting and fixed-income investment trading/reporting
  • Implement best practices/controls across all treasury functions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 6+ years of corporate treasury or other applicable experience

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or other technical discipline
  • Knowledge of institutional banking and payment systems
  • Experience with foreign exchange trading operations and derivatives in the EMEA region
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Ability to work independently to drive implementation of small and large-scale process improvements
  • An MBA or MS in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Experience with VBA automation in Excel
  • Working knowledge of Bloomberg
  • Experience with Corporate Treasury FX trading platforms such as FXAll, 360T, and Bloomberg FX Go

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This position is based in Dublin, Ireland, and requires being onsite - remote or hybrid work will not be considered
  • We will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Dublin
  • Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed
