Position Description
Electric Ireland has ambitious digital service and sales channel targets as part of the updated Electric Ireland customer focussed strategy. The candidate will work within a dynamic team of dedicated professionals and will be responsible for delivering excellent service to business customers, achieving growth and retention sales targets in respect of retail gas, retail electricity, and including energy services as required.
KeyResponsibilities
Work as part of a team to support the drive for sales growth and retention through delivery of agreed personal and team sales objectives/ targets with particular emphasis on the mid-upper levels of the B2B sectors.
Build and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the operation of the gas and electricity and energy services markets in Ireland so as to contribute positively to Electric Ireland's strategic objectives.
Develop and manage relationships with customers and other industry stakeholders including brokers, consultants, trade bodies and service providers.
Manage a customer base through proactive contact including regular visits to customer premises.
Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of customers' businesses and needs.
Deliver timely and courteous customer service and communications to customers and stakeholders via phone, email and face to face, in line with company policies, sale & marketing strategy and brand values.
Issuing electricity and gas sales quotations to customers, assisting with customer retention campaigns and generating customer reports.
Tailor and implement customised service solutions to meet the needs of individual customers and groups.
Proactively gather customer, market and competitor intelligence and feed same back for analysis.
Identify and communicate changing customer need and through that, identify areas for process improvement and for customized service solutions.
Identify and deliver customer hospitality opportunities as appropriate.
This position entails close working relationships with other areas of the business including Trading, Pricing, Operations, Finance and Marketing in addition to the wider Business Markets area.
Experience & Qualifications
3-4 years relevant work experience in Sales and/or Account Management in a competitive market environment.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Analysing data, problem solving and decision making.
Excellent planning and organising skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Innovation and creativity to adapt to changing environments / circumstances.
Ability to build and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the operation of the gas and electricity and energy services markets in Ireland so as to contribute positively to Electric Ireland's strategic objectives.
Ability to develop and manage relationships with customers and other industry stakeholders including brokers, consultants, trade bodies and service providers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Full Irish driving licence, essential.
- A relevant 3rd level qualification or equivalent work experience is essential
Location
This position is pased in Santry.
