About the role

An exciting opportunity has opened up in our Client Services Department for a Tax Reporting Associate. In the role, the successful candidate will:

Team Operation

To ensure all client tax documents (Tax Pack, CIS Guide, Complex Guide & CGT statements) are sent in an accurate & timely manner in line with our risk and control environment. To ensure all regulatory tax returns are filed in an accurate & timely manner in line with our regulatory deadlines. To reconcile and return Dividend Withholding Tax, Irish Encashment Tax and US Backup withholding tax to the appropriate regulatory body on behalf of Davy/clients on an ongoing basis. To monitor the team mailbox and respond to clients, accountants and internal queries in a timely, accurate manner in line with data security protocols. To produce and pay intermediary broker commissions on a monthly basis and any queries that may arise in relation to same. To gain a full understanding of the Dividends team processes. This will include a significant period of cross training and time spent with the Dividends team. It is anticipated that the initial period of this role will be based in the Dividends team until the candidate is fully capable in that capacity and on an ongoing basis will be required to assist that team during periods of high volumes

Reporting

Ensure all internal record keeping is updated daily and in a timely manner. Assist with preparation and recording of concise monthly Management Information and Control Reporting mechanisms as well as monthly OKR monitoring.

External and Internal Relationships

To forge a good relationship with other departments, such as Client Advisers, Davy Select, and external bodies such as Tax firms, Revenue etc Maintain a high customer service focus at all time whenever dealing with internal or external relationships. Meet and liaise with clients/advisors if required.

Requirements

About you

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:

An excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat. A record of providing excellent customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Problem solving skills. Experience of successfully working to tight deadlines.
