Senior Membership and Events Executive

Remote in Ireland with some occasional travel to Dublin


Cpl is working with a Membership organisation who are looking for a Senior Membership & Events Executive on a permanent contract fully remote in Ireland with occasional travel to Dublin.

You will be responsible for establishing effective relationships with members and key stakeholders in government, industry, education, and other professional bodies.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Devise and execute actions and activities that add value for members, including training opportunities, events, and webinars.
  • Recruit new members through member recruitment campaigns.
  • Build and manage stakeholder relationships at national and international level.
  • Contribute to strategic business plan to deliver objectives efficiently and within budget.
  • Represent the organisation at external events.
  • Contribute to creating marketing material for the website and other communication channels including newsletters, social media, and brochures.
  • Take a key role in corporate governance processes.
Skills and experience

  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role within membership and events.
  • Previous industry
experience in not for profit or educational environment desirable.

  • Experienced in planning and executing virtual and in person events.
  • Managing full cycle of business operations to build a membership community.
  • Strong track record of stakeholder management, nationally and internationally
  • Experienced in creating compelling content.
