In this role, you will establish robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders, focusing on long-term strategic planning, particularly in the ingredients category. Your responsibilities will encompass oversight of regulations, tender processes, financial forecasting, and negotiations.

Your position will be situated at our European Headquarters in Dublin, featuring a hybrid work arrangement with occasional national and international travel. A Preview of Your Responsibilities

  • Strategic Stakeholder: Act as the primary strategic liaison for the region with suppliers and corporate departments to devise effective cost-cutting strategies and implementation plans.
  • Procurement: Assist the direct procurement team by overseeing crucial activities such as financial forecasting, budget management, strategic sourcing, category strategy development, and procurement plans.
  • Relationship Management: Handle and sustain various types of supplier relationships.
  • Internal Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, R&D, and commercial teams to significantly contribute to achieving regional growth objectives.
  • Monthly Demand: Interpret monthly demand signals from the sales team to ensure adequate contract coverage for the manufacturing unit, while monitoring contract balances and consumption levels across our European manufacturing network.

Qualifications We're Looking For

  • Extensive Category Management expertise.
  • Demonstrated skills in negotiation, financial acumen, and diverse sourcing strategies.
  • Experience in Packaging or Agricultural Commodities.
