Role and Responsibilities

Work with Head of Ireland and UK PM Team to support the creation, communication and execution of the Product Management Strategy in Ireland To effectively manage all TV/AV commercial issues encompassing Pricing Roadmap, promotional planning, stock and sales forecasting, competitor analysis and market share reporting and forecasting To manage launch pricing, price repositions, internal sales support and ensure all internal systems are updated (SAP/GSCM) To work closely with UK PM Team to ensure alignment on local Pricing Strategy and global strategy and direction Work with the Product Training and Field teams to ensure new product and promotional sales talk is implemented To monitor weekly market changes in particular pricing and promotions To plan and communicate the TV + AV promotional roadmap, ensuring implementation through the Sales, Channel and Retail teams To simulate commercial impact of added new value promotions and gain consensus and approval from Leadership Team before communication all in line with timescales set out in promotional process. To support implementation and set-up of Sales and Marketing promotional programmes To work with Sales and Commercial Finance to forecast all promotional costs for accrual purposes, and to request approval for agreed costs on a monthly basis in line with internal processes To work closely with Sales Managers, monitoring and supporting the internal Sales forecast of Sell-in and Sell-out and providing key promotional support to drive sales target achievement To lead tracking and reporting of Market Share on a monthly basis highlighting clear trends to drive commercial actions in the short to long-term

Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent Experience in a product and/or marketing environment or similar Product/Category management ideally with experience in developing product and execution strategies for multiple product categories Very strong analytical and numerical skills Product Lifecycle management experience with technical proficiency Good skills in Microsoft office packages and strong verbal, written and presentation abilities Strong numeracy/commercial foresight

Skills and Qualifications

In the first 6-12 months the candidate should be owning all of their responsibilities handling them by themselves and clearly reporting on how they are delivering against all key business goals

Technical expertise (or the capability to develop this quickly) Ability to understand the impact of product strategy and potential wider business trade-offs Good capability to build and deliver clear and concise presentations Good level of Commercial foresight
