FAMI, stablished in 2001, is an UCITS management company belonging to Fideuram Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking, owned by Intesa Sanpaolo Group, the leading Italian financial group. FAMI currently manages approximately €42 billion worth of assets with over 160 sub funds. FAMI is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
Scope and ActivitiesThe Company is seeking a Counterparty and Credit Risk Manager within the Risk Management team. Based in Dublin, this is an exceptional job opportunity with a top‐tier asset management company working closely with the business. The role is a permanent contract.
The successful candidate will carry out the following duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance the Counterparty Risk and Collateral control framework for all funds managed by the Company
- Maintain the relevant policies and procedures
- Review the collateralization requirements for OTC trades and for securities lending
- Validate the Counterparty Risk and Collateral reports and monitor the results against the risk limit framework
- Address any data quality issues with the relevant service providers and with IT
- Discuss the problematic situations and define action plans with the investment managers and with the senior management, as needed
- Calculate and validate internal ratings based on the Company's internal model

- Produce regular reports for the senior management
- Contribute to the improvement of the risk management processes, systems and documentation
- Improve the automation of tasks and processes
- At least 5 years of experience in risk management
- Counterparty risk management experience is a must
- Quantitative or Finance oriented degree; FRM or PRM qualifications will be considered preferential
- Good Excel and SQL skills; experience with financial software (Bloomberg etc), and experience with risk software (Aladdin) will be considered prefertial
- Languages: English is essential, Italian is an advantage

- Able to run accurate analysis on large data sets
- Good relational and communication skills, team player
- Hand on, detailed oriented, perseverant
