What's the Deal?
5G technology is here, and it's causing a stir in the mobile network construction game. With challenges like network overlays from 2G to 5G, complex management that goes beyond what humans can handle, and tech advancements like Massive MIMO and heterogeneous networking, the stakes are high. The arrival of 5G means more services but also more complex user experience management. To tackle this, we're building AI-driven mobile networks for top-notch user experience and operational efficiency.
Huawei has picked Dublin as the hub for its new ICT Operation Competence Centre, a key player in shaping the digital transformation of the telecom industry. The focus is on developing intelligent AI systems and services to drive this transformation and create innovative business models.
If you're up for the challenge, we're looking for an AI research consultant to join our R&D team and dive into the world of autonomous networks.
About the Position
- Pinpoint the crucial technologies for autonomous networks
- Implement cutting-edge solutions for a POC
- Collaborate with experts to generate in-depth reports
Requirements
- PhD in fields like computer science, AI, machine learning, or IT focusing on AI modelling, or practical AI industry experience
- Proficiency in programming languages for AI like Python and R
- Advanced knowledge of statistical models, algorithms, and fundamental math concepts like linear algebra and probability
- Familiarity with deep learning, machine learning algorithms, and AI/ML frameworks like Pytorch
