About the role:

We are currently seeking a Principal AI Researcher to join our AI research team. This position involves conducting cutting-edge research in the field of Intelligent Operations and Management of future Autonomous Telecommunication Networks to influence market and product development for maximum business value. The AI research team collaborates closely with Domain Experts and Software Engineers on real-world Datasets.

Large Language Models (LLMs) have shown immense potential as autonomous decision-making agents, and their integration in the telco industry is expected to advance our goal of autonomous networks.

As a Principal AI Researcher, your expertise in building compact multi-modal LLMs for various tasks will be crucial in areas such as network self-healing, fault analysis, fault remediation planning, decision-making models for network optimization, and integrating RL-based decision-making technologies with LLM. Candidates with a background in telco network operations are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and implement state-of-the-art AI technologies for Autonomous Telecommunication Networks.
  • Lead solution design based on use cases and technologies, guiding team members in the process.
  • Develop AI prototypes, compare alternative solutions, and work closely with cross-functional teams to bring AI technologies into production.
  • Collaborate with experts in various fields to drive strategic planning and propose innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Natural Language Processing.
  • 5+ years of research experience in AI or Machine Learning.
  • Hands-on experience with Large Language Models and decision-making models.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical background.
  • Proficiency in Python programming and machine learning frameworks like Scikit-Learn, Pytorch.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop new algorithms.
  • Knowledge of telco networks is advantageous.
  • Track record of publications in relevant conferences and journals.
