About the Reserving Actuary Position
The Reserving Actuary role will provide exposure to a broad range of client reserving projects and will involve managing projects and workstreams from conception through to delivery. Day to day client communication and junior colleague management will also be involved in this position.
Duties for this role include (but are not limited to):
Client relationship and project management Contributing to major reserving projects Producing reports for senior management Collaborating with other teams and developing and mentoring junior staff membersActuarial Skills Required
The Non-Life Reserving Actuary role would suit a Nearly Qualified Actuary from a Non-Life background. Candidates will ideally have experience of the following:
Reserving and reserving techniques Excel and VBA, with R and SQL an advantage Excellent communication skills and experience working independently, cross-functionally, and within teams Strong writing skills
