Lex Consultancy is excited to announce a collaboration with a top Property Developer in the recruitment of a Junior Development Manager to join a dynamic and expanding team at a well-respected company located in Dublin 4. This role will support the Head of Acquisitions and Planning in various aspects of development projects.

The chosen candidate will play a key role in conducting feasibility studies, preparing planning applications, monitoring project timelines, and facilitating effective communication with both internal teams and external collaborators to drive project advancement.

Key duties of the Junior Development Manager:

  • Support the project management team in coordinating development tasks
  • Assist in monitoring project timelines, budgets, and milestones
  • Collaborate with the project management team to ready the project for construction
  • Communicate efficiently with internal teams and external partners to ensure project progression
  • Foster relationships with external stakeholders
  • Engage with local authorities and regulatory entities to secure essential permits and approvals
  • Conduct negotiations with various parties, including utility providers, local authorities, and stakeholder groups
  • Explore potential land acquisition opportunities
  • Contribute to offer preparation and land purchase agreement negotiations
  • Participate in financial analysis for development ventures, encompassing cost estimation and budgeting
  • Maintain accurate documentation of development-related materials, such as contracts, permits, and approvals
  • Research industry trends, competitor actions, and market dynamics
  • Offer insights and recommendations to bolster strategic decision-making

Key Skills of the Junior Developmental Manager:

  • Previous experience in a comparable role within the construction sector
  • Possession of a Business, Planning & Environmental Management degree is advantageous
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
