The position of Training/Administration Supervisor involves leading the training function with the following key responsibilities:

  • Regularly meeting trainees/staff to provide training services
  • Collaborating with DSP officer on all aspects of scheme and trainees
  • Engaging with trainees on an ongoing basis about their work experience, attitude, application, and development needs
  • Identifying relevant training and educational programs for individual trainees at cost-effective prices and quality standards for approval through the ILP process
  • Documenting sustained engagements, reviews, and assessments for each trainee
  • Updating and maintaining ILP records for all trainees
  • Assisting with progression opportunities, particularly in employment paths

Desired Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and proficiency in computer literacy

Competency Skills: Decision-making, problem-solving, teamwork, initiative, and collaboration

Specialization in: Knowledge of FETAC and QQI qualifications is advantageous

Requirements: Level 6 qualification or higher with a focus on problem-solving skills in social care administration
