About this role:

  • Wells Fargo is looking for an Operations Static Data and Recons Specialist to join the WFBI Operations Static, Reconciliations and Reporting team. The main role involves supporting the team in their day-to-day tasks, including Cash Nostro Reconciliations, subsystem to GL reconciliation, cash balance verification, Static Data management, and various reporting activities. The team member will collaborate with others to ensure accurate and timely completion of core tasks, as well as contribute to group projects and initiatives.

In this role, you will:

  • Follow the SSI process to ensure accurate and timely set up across relevant systems.
  • Manage Static Data setup across necessary systems.
  • Complete Nostro reconciliation tasks.
  • Handle investigation case setup and resolution of breaks.
  • Conduct Subsystem to GL reconciliations.
  • Produce cash substantiation reports.
  • Accurately complete internal and regulatory reporting duties.
  • Ensure daily tasks are finished on time.
  • Consider Operational Risk in all completed tasks, reporting incidents as needed.
  • Engage in new projects/initiatives assigned by the manager.
  • Identify areas for process improvement, offer insights on trends, workflow, and presentation design.
  • Perform various administrative and operational tasks.
  • Participate in research, tracking, and data gathering related to regulations and policy.
  • Analyze data, track trends, and present findings.
  • Receive direction from the manager and escalate questions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with peers, team members, and managers on projects and technology issues.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Experience in Analytics or related fields through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Operational experience in a financial institution.
  • Strong understanding of systems and core banking products, especially lending and Treasury.
  • Expertise in SWIFT payment message formatting.
  • Knowledge of reconciliation, investigation, and Static Data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience with collaborative approaches.
  • Capability to work under pressure and manage workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in a multicultural organization.
