The perfect candidate should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in Design Management, with a strong background in residential developments. You will be:
  • Ensuring the proper implementation of design management procedures on projects, including the production and maintenance of various design-related documents.
  • Taking charge of design aspects during the tender process and construction phase, such as creating written materials for presentations.
  • Playing a role in selecting the design team and managing their appointments, as well as dealing with design-related issues in line with company procedures.
  • Addressing 'strategic design' items within tender and construction documents by providing solutions aligned with regulations and requirements.
  • Ensuring designs prioritize health & safety, sustainability, and quality considerations.
  • Collaborating with the site team to explore alternative design solutions, including MMC.
You will have:
  • Degree Level 6 in architecture, engineering, building services, or related field + a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Preferred experience in CDE, BIM, and planning software.
  • Desired training and expertise in sustainability accreditation and health & safety.
  • Experience in site operations, commercial procedures, and contract management.
  • Familiarity with building regulations, planning permissions, and PSDP processes.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Desirable experience in HSE/Acute hospital environments.
