Position Overview

Role Overview

  • Manage a range of internal IT audits, primarily in the public sector and financial services
  • Develop audit plans and scope audits for outsourced or co-sourced internal audits
  • Oversee fieldwork, guide junior staff, and review working papers
  • Prepare audit reports, findings, and recommendations
  • Communicate with audit staff and client management
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained
  • Contribute to team growth and development
  • Participate in training IT audit staff and methodology development

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of IT auditing experience
  • Prior internal IT audit experience
  • Registered IT audit qualification like CISA or CISM
  • Knowledge of cyber security standards like NIST, ISO27001, etc.
  • Strong understanding of technology, IT management controls, and networking
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized, self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal and project management skills
  • Outstanding oral, written, and presentation skills in English

Additional advantages include ISAE3042/SSAE16/Soc 1 and 2 audit experience, familiarity with audit tools like ACL, IDEA, and Alteryx, financial services or Irish public sector experience, and technical qualifications in cyber security, networking, or infrastructure.
