Azure Cloud Technology Director (Dublin) - Technology Enablement

As an Azure Cloud Technology Director at Slalom, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients through their cloud adoption journey, offering technical advice, guidance, and strategic insights to help them achieve their cloud technology objectives, including assessing infrastructure, developing migration strategies, and implementing cloud solutions successfully.

What you will Do:

  • Conduct detailed assessments of client infrastructure, applications, and business processes to identify Azure Cloud adoption opportunities.
  • Collaborate with clients to design customized cloud migration and transformation strategies aligned with their business goals.
  • Lead and support cloud migration projects, ensuring deployment success, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Provide ongoing consultation to clients, assisting them in navigating complex cloud technology challenges and evolving their cloud strategies as necessary.
  • Be a domain-specific problem expert and thought leader on modern technology.
  • Manage and empower junior team members, promoting a people-first mentality, offering mentorship, career guidance, and advocating for diversity and inclusion.

What you bring with you:

  • Proven experience in cloud technology consulting with successful Azure Cloud migrations and implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing architectures, microservices, containers, and serverless technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking ability.
  • Outstanding communication and client-facing skills with a networking passion.
  • Hands-on experience in delivering technology assessments, migration acceleration programs, and more.
  • Passion for developing and leading technology teams, valuing diversity and creating inclusive environments.
  • Active in technology discussions with partners and team members, distilling concepts for non-technical partners.
  • Experience with cloud partner funding processes.
