We have a strong Data Centre project pipeline over the next 5 years for the Nordic Region - predominantly Sweden & Finland.

We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong technical background and at least 5 years' of experience on large-scale construction or manufacturing projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of secured projects.
  • Assist with the Design and Co-ordination process between the client and contractors e.g. Architect, Consultant, Steel, and Cladding contractors
  • Develop and manage a detailed project delivery schedule and work plan
  • Ensure quality control procedures are implemented in-line with the manufacturers guidelines and liaise with the clients to ensure client user and operability is in-line with the product's intended use
  • Client relationship management
  • Liaise with senior management team
  • Track project progress and costs rigorously and mitigate potential risks
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements
  • Creating frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection
  • Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications
  • Preparing technical submittals following detailed project approval processes
  • Completing health and safety documentation as required
  • Assisting on site works such as snagging, pre commissioning and commissioning and ensuring all the associated paperwork is completed to the highest standard

Key Candidate Requirements:

  • Third Level Engineering Qualification. Preferably Mechanical/Electrical or Building services.
  • 5+ years of project management and related experience
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timelines
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Key Knowledge:

  • Microsoft Suite of products including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • CAD
  • BIM/ REVIT

Key Skills:

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Responsibility for follow-up on actions based on various team projects
  • High organization and time management skills in managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to perform and manage technically complex projects using good judgment & initiative
  • Build strong internal and external relationships using effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Work independently without regular direct supervision
